Sitecast Guidelines

Definitions

  • A "Website" is a collection of information of web pages.
  • A "Channel" is a frequency used for broadcasting content.
  • The "Owner" is an individual who operates a Channel.
  • "Content" is materials, such as images, audio, videos, etc, made on the Website.

  • To keep Sitecast safe, our Guidelines show what is not allowed on Channels and what to follow.



    1. Adult Content

  • Any material, in a show or movie, or audio that are intended for a mature audience is not allowed for Channels to broadcast.

  • 2. Violence

  • While mild violence is not strictly prohibited, explicit violence, injuries, and actions like torturing, murder and dismemberment is strictly prohibited for Channels to broadcast.

  • 3. Illegal Acts

  • Content on Channels that promotes illegal activity, such as how to perform criminal acts, is not allowed on the Website.
  • It is recommended to put a disclaimer bumper before the program is broadcasted.
  • Sitecast and the Channel are not responsible for any attempted acts.

  • 4. Language, Slurs and Insults

  • While coarse language is not strictly prohibited, any offensive slangs, slurs or insults that may offend people are prohibited from being broadcast by Channels.
  • It is recommended to put a disclaimer bumper before the program is broadcasted.

  • 5. Rating Standards & Age Restrictions

  • The Website's Channels must have shows or movies that are rated "G," "PG," "14+," or their other international equivalents.
  • Any programs that are intended for adults (18+), R (by the MPAA) or their other international equivalents are prohibited.
  • It is recommended to put a disclaimer bumper before the program is broadcasted.

  • 6. Joke Segments

  • A Channel can air jokes as segments, named "Joke Segments", if the Owner wants to, but they must air it one or two times per day.

  • 7. Hate Speech

  • Hate speech on a Channel's programming that may offend people on their race, religion, skin color, sexual identity, gender identity, ethnicity, disability, or national origin is strictly prohibited.

  • 8. Usage of AI

  • Usage of AI on the logo or broadcasting any AI videos is not allowed. Your Channel will be removed instantly.

  • Channel Branding

    We require Channels to have effort on their channel branding and identity, such as promos, bumpers (for Channels), etc.


    Commercial Breaks

  • After programs, commonly TV shows, it's recommended that Channels must have commercial breaks. This is optional, but it is recommended to fill in the :00 and :30 time slots after programs, depending on the Owner's decision.

  • Termination of Channel(s)

    Violation

    If the Channel had violated one or more of our Guidelines, or if another individual has filed a report on our form, the Website may:

    1. Issue a warning.
    2. Temporarily remove the Channel.
    3. Permanently remove the Channel if the Owner is still breaking the Guidelines.

    Takedown

    If the copyright holder requests a DMCA Takedown, our Website will remove the copyrighted content as possible.
